Listen to Kaskade's "Turn it Down" ft. Rebecca & Fiona

Kaskade and fellow deejays Rebecca and Fiona teamed up for his single "Turn it Down" from his seventh record Fire and Ice. Visually and musically, this song and video creates an aesthetically pleasing experience. You'll hear a wonderful blend of Kaskade's soft house infused beats and Rebecca and Fiona's ethereal voices harmonizing with each other perfectly. Visually the video has many flashing lights and colors, ice skaters doing tricks, raving, and some animated scenes with neon lips syncing with the lyrics, alluding to the cover art for the single. Although Kaskade himself isn't shown in the video, Rebecca and Fiona make an appearance raving and singing. They change outfits several times throughout the video, and I must say I adore pretty much all of them. It ends with a closeup of what looks like Fiona showing off her briefs which have "Kaskade" written on the waistband.

Despite the great setup, the video doesn't seem to match the meaning behind the lyrics. The song seems to be about a lover who is irresistible despite their untruthfulness, and the singer keeps on finding reasons to keep the relationship which seems beyond her control. Aside from this, I am loving the artistry in this collaboration!
